Linux Mint

Linux Mint continues to be awesome.  I’ve re-arranged my desktop considerably and am finding it quite pleasing.  I also spent a bit of time simplifying my firefox browser.  There are lots of helpful sites regarding editing the firefox userchrome file.  You can seriously re-design firefox’s interface however you like.  I combined my file bar with my address bar and got rid of all the extra bells and whistles on it i never use to conserve space.  I also got rid of the help menu option, because again I never used it.  This freed up an entire toolbar of space.  It’s almost as slim as Google Chrome but you know.. better because it’s firefox.  I also redesigned my OpenOffice Splash screen and my linux mint start button.  The latter of which you can see in the screen shot below.
