Recipe: Chicken and Brown Mushrooms

This is a simple stir-fry.  It’s paleo friendly simply by dropping the beer.

I used:

1 piece of chicken thigh meat (somewhere around 100-150 grams),
1 large new onion
about 8 brown button mushrooms
a handful of frozen bell peppers slices.
a splash of beer
cooking oil and seasonings

Step 1:  Peel and chop onion.  Add to frying pan.
Step 3:  Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces, add to frying pan on top of onions.
Step 4:  Add a small bit of oil (alternatively you can just use water, it will taste less awesome) and apply low-medium heat.
Step 5:  Slice the mushrooms and add to pan.
Step 6:  Add seasoning, I used salt, and freshly ground black pepper, and some cumin.
Step 7:  Add frozen pepper slices to the pan.
Step 8:  Flip the chicken.
Step 9:  Add a splash of beer.
Step 8:  Drizzle a tiny amount of soy sauce or other flavoring agent over the dish.
Step 9:  Let cook only until the the chicken isn’t pink, serve.
